Debugging Scheme of DCS System - Screen Test

Field debugging is mainly to check the use of system software, and the application software configuration confirmation and functional testing.


Today introduce about the screem test:


1) Screen test of flow chart:


a)The flow screen shall be shown in P&I diagram. The page number and screen contents shall meet the configuration requirements

b)Screen static display check:

*Check title location, color, and text description.

*Shape, size, position, color of a graph.

*Width, position, color and inlet and outlet joints of process pipeline.

* symbol, text, size, location and color of the measurement variables.

* arrow, width, position and content of instrument signal.

*Shape, size, position, color, in and out arrows of page links

*The engineering measurement unit meets the design requirements

c)Screen dynamic display check:

* the variation value of the measured variable should be within the accuracy range recognized by the system.

* color change of valve and pump running state.

* alarm status changes and should be the correct priority level.

d) select the circuit from the process screen and conduct the test of adjusting the set value, control mode (automatic/manual) and manual output.


2) General appearance screen test


a) confirm that the general appearance screen has been configured according to the configuration data table.

b)check the correct configuration of each group and unit in the general appearance picture.


3) Group screen debugging


a) confirm that the loop in the group screen is consistent with the group described in the general appearance screen.

b) all measured values, set values, analog and digital outputs are in correct configuration.

c) change the set value, control mode and output test.
